Dead Pixels is a portable console curated by Christian Bili and Samuel Wagen Magnon for The Seashore of Endless Worlds an exhibition in Ginebra about games.

It was done in collaboration with Felix Martinez who has programmed all the algorithms and electronics.

Dead Pixels represents a portable stadium with a tiny battle of pixels on the small lower screen.
The fight is a reinterpretation of the Conway Life Game, the first cellular automaton that was created in 1970.

When you start the game, a number counter scrolls and indicates the number of pixels killed during the game. In a few seconds, thousands of pixels kill each other under the gaze of the crowd symbolized by the animation of the red LED matrix.
